Condolences
To be read at memorial service for Janet Doherty:
Janet may have been tiny in stature but she was large in might and stubborn when she knew what she wanted. With this in mind it is only understandable that Janet did not want to spend her time in a hospital or hospice.
We would like to say a heartfelt thank you to Chris & Rob for allowing Janet to have her palliative care be at home, in their home. And a sincere gratitude to both of them and Mom & Dad for undertaking Janet’s personal care. It has been a tough journey but we know it meant alot to Janet.
Thank you.
Dennis & Teresa
Dennis our family thoughts are with you and yours.
My sincere condolences to all of Janet’s Family members. Thank you again Dave for the call advising me of Janet’s passing. Although my and Janet’s contact has been minimal in our adult years, I find myself thinking back to our many happy childhood memories when we were inseparatable as young girls. I was fortunate to have known a kind, adventurous and loyal friend and those characteristics do not change with age. Over the years we did manage to keep up to date with one another’s lives despite the distance and it was very special to see our children interact during a day at the beach in Cobourg, Ontario.
Please know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers and may God help you as you endure this incredible loss.
