It’s been many years since we became friends with Bob camping on the beach in Sylvan Lake. One doesn’t forget good times with good friends and so I am saddened to hear that Bob has passed away. My heartfelt condolences go out to you, his family, whom I know must be richer for having had him in your lives.
We are so sad to hear of Bob’s sudden illness and passing. Mere words seem insufficient at such a time as this, but its all we have to convey our deepest sympathy for all your loss. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

Dear Cathy & family – We are so shocked & sorry for your sudden loss. Thinking over the many years and while we didn’t see each other often, we have some great memories. Bob and I communicated mostly by email over the past couple years so I always loved your family updates. Wish we would have got that golf game in – Will miss him very much. Love & Hugs from the Coads
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this very difficult time.
Bob will be greatly missed.
My deepest condolences to the family. Bob was a wonderful, compassionate boss who had great vision for his company. We will all miss him.
Dear Cathy and Family;
We are so sorry to hear this sad news. Me and my wife both feel we missed a wonderful person. Very compassionate and caring about everything he does.
His generosity towards Sri Lanka during tsunami time was appreciated by Sri Lankan Community and we have named a new house built with his fund as “Lipsey”.
He will be remembered for ever.
Nanda and Swarna Gunaratne
First of all I wish to extend my deepest condolences to Bob’s family and friends. I am truly sorry for your loss.
I have been employed at Trans Am for 6 years now. It is a rarity that you get to not only meet the man you work for but also develop a relationship with such a geniune man as well. My fondest memory of Bob is one of my first encounters with him that I will never forget.
Myself and some of the other warehouse guys were out front of the shop playing basketball at lunch, when Mr. Lipsey pulled up. He stopped and watched us for a short while and then commented how “basketball was a women’s sport” but not in those exact words.
Taking offense and without thinking of who I was speaking to, I turned around and said, “yeah golfs a real mans sport, lots of contact going on there.” He laughed and went on his way. From that day on being both fans of feminine sports he always addressed me as Josephine and in return I would call him Roberta.
I have a tremendous amount of respect and adoration for Bob, as do all of his employees. He will be missed but never forgotten.
Cathy,
We were very sorry to hear of your loss.
Jenn, Jay & family

Catherine: We are so very sad and sorry for your loss. There is a poem that I’d like to share, and hope it gives you some strength:
“Do not stand at my grave and weep;
I am not there. I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow…
I am the sunlight on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain….
When you awaken in the morning hush,
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight,
I am the soft stars that shine in the night,
Do not stand at my grave and cry;
I am not there. I did not die.”
Our love and thoughts are with you.
Our deepest condolences go out to Bob’s family! I was so saddened to hear of Bob’s passing. He was a wonderful man. I worked at Trans Am for 6 years and he was the best boss anyone could ever ask for. He will be deeply missed by both myself and my husband.

We can’t comprehend just how sad you must feel
For the loss of someone you love.
This sorrowful time must still feel unreal
And you’re looking for strength from above.
We hope, from our hearts, that your pain will decrease,
That your spirit will gain strength again,
And we pray that your faith will create inner peace
And that God will send blessings–Amen
Deepest condolences from Heidi & Hans
