Obituary of LORIA – Caterina

April 9, 1932 – October 30, 2009 Caterina Loria, beloved wife of Antonio of Calgary, passed away on Friday, October 30, 2009 at the age of 77 years. Caterina was born in San Giovanni in Fiore, Italy. She immigrated to Calgary in 1953 and dedicated her life to her family. Caterina was a loving, caring mother and nonna. Besides her loving husband Antonio, Caterina is also survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Harvey and Cathy, and Dean and Dina; grandchildren, Leanna, Vanessa, Adam, and Andrea; sister Rosa (Franco) Lucente; brother Giovanni (Vicenza) Succurro; and numerous nieces and nephews, all of Calgary. Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers and Tributes at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S, Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Monday, November 2, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Ascension Catholic Church (1100 Berkshire Boulevard N.W.) on Tuesday, November 3, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. Graveside Service to follow at Queen’s Park Mausoleum.
