Obituary of McLEAN – Alexander Mitchell Mitch

May 14, 1947 – October 27, 2009 Mitch McLean beloved husband of Jean passed away on Tuesday, October 28, 2009 at the age of 62 years. Mitch was born and raised in Winnipeg, MB. His passion was music, and for over thirty years he was a drummer, manager, and booking agent for various rock bands. Mitch, an entrepreneur, owned and operated numerous businesses in Manitoba. In Calgary, his latest venture was “McLean Mobile Sharpening”. Besides his loving wife Jean, Mitch is survived by his daughter Heather; brothers, Jimmy (Pam), and Johnny; sister Donna (Bob) Scott; Jean’s daughters, Bonnie (Gord), Donna (Charlie) and Susan (Cal) and their children; as well as by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. Mitch was predeceased by his parents George and Iris. He will be remembered as a caring, generous man who was a mentor to many.
