Obituary of JENSEN – Fay Louise

December 07, 1913 – October 25, 2009 Fay Louise Jensen, much loved mother and grandmother passed away on Sunday, October 25, 2009 in Calgary, AB at the age of 95 years. Fay was born to pioneer parents, Lee and Jessie Walsh in Tisdale, SK. Fay lived in her own home until age ninety two, when she moved to Calgary to be near her family. Fay was a lifetime member of the St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church and the Order of the Eastern Star. Fay had a passion and talent in petit-point and needlepoint and many family and friends share those treasures. Fay was an avid reader and bridge player and was able to play cards just prior to her passing. Fay is survived by her daughter, Arlene Johnston (Glen) of Calgary; daughter in law, Margaret Jensen of Nanaimo, BC; five grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and a sister, Grace of Penticton, BC. Fay was predeceased by her husband Harry (Swede) in 2001, and her son Robert in 2008. A memorial service and internment will take place in Tisdale in the spring of 2010.
