Obituary of SCHACTER – Rose

July 6, 1923 – October 22, 2009 Rose passed away peacefully with her family and loving husband of 62 years by her side. She dedicated her life to her family, making each of her five children feel loved and special. She provided us with constant support and was an exemplary role model for all of us. She smiled in the face of illness and considered herself blessed in spite of it. Rose adored each of her eleven grandchildren and went to any length to make them happy. They, in turn, idolized their Grandma. Rose is survived by her devoted and loving husband Marvin “Schac”, her children Fred, Mike (Candy), Jeff (Alicia), Melanie (John) Larsen, Sara (Peter) Brodsky and her grandchildren; Stephanie, Jennifer (Josh), Ari J., Josh, Jordan, Brandon, Jules, Ali, Cassie, Rachel and Joely. She will be deeply missed by her entire family. We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Palliative Care and Dr. Faith Nixdorff for their kindness towards our family and for the comfort they brought our amazing mother in her final days.
