Obituary of BISCHOFF – Alexander

October 29, 1933 – October 18, 2009 Alexander Bischoff, beloved husband of Joan Bischoff of Calgary, passed away suddenly on Sunday, October 18, 2009 at the age of 75 years. Alex joined the R.C.M.P. at the age of 19. He retired as a staff Sergeant in Ottawa in 1977. He joined the Calgary City Police and worked as a bail magistrate until 1992 when he officially retired. He is survived by his loving wife Joan; son Bradley (Deb); daughter Lori (Richard); grandchildren, Brett, Jared, Hayley and Lindsay; brothers, Peter (Linda), Bernard (Trish); and sisters, Caroline, Bernadette (Bob), Lucille (Danny). He was predeceased by father Frank; mother Maggie; brothers, Frank and Archie; and sisters, Amelia and Marlene. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Fish Creek Chapel (14441 Bannister Road S.E.) on Thursday, October 22, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
