Irene passed away at the Rockyview General Hospital in Calgary on October 17, 2009 at the age of 83. Irene was born April 11, 1926, in Cossano Belbo, Italy. In 1947 she married the love of her life, Primo. In 1957, together with her husband and young son, Irene immigrated to Canada to begin a new life in Calgary.
