Condolences
Dear Rex & Jennifer, George & Shirley and David & Kathy,
Please accept my deepest sympathy for the loss of Berenice. She was a wonderful friend to me and we had many good times and lots of laughter together.
I’m so glad we were all with her at Thanksgiving for one last time.
I know her life lately was very difficult so we must be happy she is no longer suffering although she will be sorely missed by us all.
Here’s to a great lady.
Sincerely,
Betty McFadyen
To Berenice’s Family.
Please accept my sincerest condolences in the loss of your Dear Mother.
I purchased Berenice’s condo a few years ago. As soon as I saw it, I knew that it was perfect for me. There isn’t much that I have changed. She and I had many of the same tastes such as her garden, decorative touches and family values. Whenever I pass the wall in the basement where the family growth chart is still marked, I think of her. I just spoke to her on the phone the week before her passing. Her memory was very sharp.
I just wanted you to know that she has touched my life. I am grateful for her making this place such a warm home.
Best regards,
Betty Eggertson
So sorry to hear of your loss
Our thoughts are with you
In Sadness I write you to express my heartfelt sympathy at the loss of Bernice, your mother, grandmother and Mother-in-law. My father, Harold Gibson also extends his condolences. I love the idea of planting a tree and would appreciate knowing where in Fish Creek Park you will put it. I hope to walk by there with the dogs and have a concrete connection with a woman (and husband, and kids) that were so much a part of my life, in St. Andrews and at Shuswap lake. You are free to email me at DaniG@shaw.ca if you so choose.
I hope that Bernice’s passing was peaceful and alleviated any pain she might have experienced prior.
Thinking of you, George, Rex and David. With many blessings, Dani
