Obituary of SPARKMAN – Elspeth Margaret

June 23, 1915 – October 16, 2009 It is with great sadness that the family of Elspeth Sparkman announce her peaceful passing, on Friday, October 16, 2009 at the age of 94 years. She was truly an amazing lady, with the kindest, gentlest heart. She lived for her family and they were her life. The void that is left with her passing will be difficult to fill, but remembering the strength she always portrayed will help all of us through this difficult time. Elspeth is survived by her loving son and daughter-in-law, Donald and Winnie Sparkman; daughters and sons-in-law, Lorraine and David Ferguson and Phyllis and Howard Cockwill; sixteen grandchildren, twenty six great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. She was predeceased by her husband, George; daughter, Jeanette and sons, Lloyd and Kenny. A Celebration of Elspeth’s Life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Cochrane Funeral Home (369 Railway Street, Cochrane, AB) on Thursday, October 22, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
