Obituary of ALVES – Jeronimo Sousa

June 25, 1924 – October 9, 2009 Jeronimo Sousa Alves passed away peacefully, with his loving family by his side, on Friday, October 9, 2009 at the age of 85 years. Jeronimo was born on June 25, 1924 in Terceira Acores. His passions in life were carpentry and his family. Besides his loving wife of fifty-four years Fatima, Jeronimo is survived by his daughter Neves (Riyaz Virani); and grandchildren, Dean and Dario. He is also survived by his three sisters and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son Jorge. Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers and Tributes at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church (4747 – 30th Street S.E.) on Tuesday, October 13, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church (4747 – 30th Street S.E.) on Wednesday, October 14, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. Graveside Service to follow at Mountain View Memorial Gardens.
