Obituary of MATHIESON – Elsie

September 26, 1924 – October 7, 2009 Elsie Mathieson beloved wife of James Mathieson of Calgary, passed away on October 7, 2009 at the age of 85 years. Elsie worked for 25 years for Eastman Photographic Materials and 25 years for Mathieson Photo. Elsie is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, James; her sister, Ida (Ted) Sawyers; brothers, Alvin Ritz and Lawrence (Lauretta) Ritz; Sister-in-law, Pearl Ritz; nephews, Bill Sawyers, Dan (Shelly) Ritz, Marty (Lois) Ritz, Troy (Kate) Ritz, Darryl Tonn, Kevin Ritz and Sheldon (Duane) Ritz; nieces, Patrice Sawyers (Larry Adorjan), Laurie (Peter) Vanderwoude and Cheryl (Dave) Schroeder. She was predeceased by her brother Alfred Ritz. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W.) on Saturday, October 10, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. Graveside Service to follow at Edenbrook Memorial Gardens.
