I am so very sorry for the loss of dear Dieter Utzig, I had met him many many years ago. He was a very nice person and he wrote letters to me for years after. He was always kind and let me know of his travels around the world. I just found a letter from him dated Feb 5.1990.

He was a beautiful soul. God rest him in peace.

I was Peter’s friend, living just around the corner on Prospect ave. In my childhood school days in Calgary. I was deeply saddened to hear the news. Dieter was talented, creative, inspired, had a spirited character, and during the years we spent in Calagry and Vancouver a good friend.
