Dear Robert and Betty,
On behalf of my brother Paul and our side of the Coolen family we want to express our condolences for the loss of your brother, Betty’s brother –in-law and our cousin.
Robert we have many excellent memories of the us growing up together both in Hamilton and Oakville and the summers spent in Nova Scotia. Bruce was a close friend over the years and I must say from my perspective he and I had some great times together in Toronto during our later adult working years.
Dad has written you both a personal letter expressing his thoughts and feelings and we regret that we are not able to be in attendance for Bruce’s memorial service but want you to know that we are with you and Betty in sprit and you are both in our prayers.
We have made a contribution to the Cancer Society of Canada in Bruce’s name.
