Obituary of MURISON – James Arnot
July 26, 1925 – September 27, 2009
James (Jim) Arnot Murison passed away September 27, 2009 at the age of 84 years.
Born in Tessier, SK, to the late Tom and Vera (Thompson) Murison, Jim was well known across Calgary because of his successful Crystal Window Cleaners and outgoing personality. Jim loved everything Scottish, his dogs, family genealogy, seldom forgot a birthday, always lent a helping hand, supported a number of charities, and never missed donating blood, being honoured by the Canadian Red Cross for one hundred blood donations.
Twice married, he is survived by son, Tom (Deborah Cohen); and grandchildren, Rachel and Benjamin of Oakville, ON; daughter, Laurie (Ken Ingersoll) of Grand Manan, NB; and brother, Andy and sister, Madeline Leonard of Saskatoon, SK, and their families. He was predeceased by his parents, sister-in-law, and brother-in-law. He will be missed in his neighbourhood, by his family and dear friends, especially the Kachmarski family.
Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W.) on Saturday, October 3, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
