Obituary of Sydney Thomas JONES

February 7, 1927 – September 27, 2009 Sydney Thomas Jones, beloved husband of Grace Jones of Calgary, passed away on Sunday, September 27, 2009 at the age of 82 years. Syd was born in Saskatoon, SK on February 7, 1921. He married Grace Lee on June 1, 1949 and made their home in Calgary. Syd worked for many years with Canada Safeway, retiring in 1988. Syd is survived by his loving wife Grace; son and daughter-in-law, Brad and Connie and their children, Kyra and Logan; daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and Tom and their children, Chelsea, Leesa and Cameron; his brothers, Don and Clint; sisters, Ferne and Isobel as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Robert.
