Obituary of BLACK – Richard Jarrod

March 3, 1968 – September 26, 2009 It is with much sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Rick on Saturday, September 26, 2009 at the age of 41 years. Rick is survived by his loving wife Denise; sons Evann and Kade, and was anxiously awaiting the arrival of their third child. Rick also leaves behind his parents, Howard and Shirley; his sister Lori and brother in-law Casey, all of Calgary; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; and his in-laws, Bill and Linda Johnson of Kaslo, BC. Rick was born in Calgary and was a graduate of SAIT with a diploma in Business Administration and accounting. He then acquired his CGA and became a partner at the accounting firm of Lo Porter and Hétu. Rick was a beautiful, supportive and gentle person; his zest for life was his driving force for the well balanced life he led. He loved golf, hockey and all sports. He also shared his love with his cats and dog Nyles. He will be sadly missed not only by his family, but his many friends and associates. A Memorial Service will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S, Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Thursday, October 1, 2009 at 2:30 p.m. Forward condolences through .
