Condolences
“Man is not material, he is Spiritual”. This is a testament to a moment of thought about the Donovan Family throughout the 1960’s and the Love, and joy and laughter that was always present in that household! Although late in the game…May I send a sincere of Love and Peace to all people involved in that big family life and especially to Gerry, Mary-Anne, Gerard and To Bob …thanks for the Angel message. R.I.P.
Blessings,
Howie Todd
Jill,
We used to be neighbours in Maple Ridge, So sorry to read about Bob. Hope you and the rest of the family are well.

Bob and I were brothers of choice. The summers of 65 thru 68 were magic. No fence too high, no girl too pretty. Smokes, Players filtered or Dad Donovan’s Export Plain, in the Pram Room at Bayshore. Scraps on the Sparks Mall. Cold night walks after the buses stopped running. Frostbitten feet cause boots weren’t cool even in January. Dances, parties, Connie Mac ball. Lake Mississippi the summer of Love 67. Bob had 26 dates I got 24. A true attraction for the girls he was. Tough as nails when push came to don’t push me again. Fantastic athlete. Love You Bob. Glad I didn’t miss this. There’s a little hole in my soul that is still healing from you leaving early.

Jill, I just found out about Bob, I am so, so sorry for your loss. Bob was a good man. You and the boys are in my thoughts.
I am so sorry to hear about Bob’s passing. I worked with Bob years ago at Canfer. What a joy he was to work with. I could always count on him to keep me laughing throughout the day. It was clear how very much he loved his family as he always had little stories about the boys and Jill. Although I haven’t seen him in years – he will be missed.
Hard to kill, but they eventually goot him. He’ll be missed.

Bob was always my big brother while growing up
he would always chase me down at Orrunsworth park and make me use my cruthes if I left home withour them
included was a lecture about leaving home without my crutches and then my brotherly punch on my shoulder to…let me know he cared
we have been apart for years but I will still miss him.
there are so many instances or memories of Bob while growing up…
during High school Bob worked part time at Shopper’s city at 6pm…
5:45 Bob would come to me hurridly for a drive to work and without a doubt during the ride to work there was a lecture given to me about life…memories of Bob
finally-memories and sinstances of my brother Bob
he has proven his words to me as true by
his successful marriage to Jullian and with the success of his 2 sons,
may the Lord be with you Bob
Bob, you were the ultimate big brother, your lessons will never be forgotten.
Keegs, Kev and Jill, hang in there, we all love you a ton….
I will always treasure the memories we made growing up together and remember with joy and laughter the times we shared as adults. Good men and brothers are hard to find but you were the best in both categories. Kevin, Keegs and Jill you will always be in my mind and heart. Take good care of each other. Love Lynnie nad Bob
