Obituary of Jadwiga Zsa Zsa HARBOUR

August 3, 1955 – September 17, 2009 Zsa Zsa was born August 3, 1955 in Calgary, Alberta at the General Hospital. Zsa Zsa will always be remembered for her honesty and frankness. She had a great passion for golfing. She enjoyed playing The Calgary Elks Lodge and Golf Club, Meadow Lake Resort, and various courses throughout Canada and the USA. Her favourite area was the dessert courses in Phoenix. She was very health conscious but always enjoyed meals with friends and trying different restaurants. Zsa Zsa’s special time of the year was Christmas, where she celebrated the meaning of Christmas and being with friends and family. Her family, dearest friends, Brothers and Sisters of the Latter Day Saints were of utmost importance to her. Her faith in God comforted her in the promise and knowledge of everlasting life. Although Zsa Zsa will be missed by those who are left behind, they rejoice that she is now at peace with her Lord and Saviour. Jadwiga is survived by her loving husband Allan Harbour; seven brothers, Alexander (Kathy) Kasatkin, Henry (Darlene), Arthur, Edmund (Judy), Robert, David and Alexander Niznik. Nieces and nephews, Katherine Kasatkin, Kristina Bird, Kim Wheatley, Sean (Crystall) Niznik, Robin (Nathan) Woodruff, Pamela (Alan) Tondevold, Adam, Benjamin, Brian and Alexander Niznik; Fourteen great-nephews and nieces; mother-in-law Joyce Harbour; brothers-in-law, Frank(Donna) Harbour and Reid( Debbie) Harbour; Nieces and nephews, Jason (Amanda) Harbour, Chad Harbour and Jody Harbour. Zsa Zsa was predeceased by her father Henry Niznik; mother Barbara Niznik and younger sister Ramona McKinnon. Zsa Zsa was employed for 22 years by Regent Resources LTD. Her designation was P. Land , Landman, Land Manager. She ran Regent’s Land Department for most of that time and became part of the Management team after earning her P.Land Designation in 1998. Zsa Zsa enjoyed and was dedicated to her work and always looked after the best interest of Regent Resources. Zsa Zsa always respected and loved her co workers. Zsa Zsa wished to express appreciation to John Bowlen, president and Owner of Regent Resources LTD, and to her many co-workers for her success in the Oil and Gas Industry, and for their support during her brief battle with Cancer. A Memorial Service will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Bow Valley Chapel (2526 – 24th Avenue N.W.) on Thursday, September 24, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. You may forward condolences through .
