I feel so sad that I missed Mr. Terakita’s funeral. I didn’t even know he passed. I just heard from my mom recently. I used to be his neighbour in Sundance. I first met him when I was 12-years-old. Now I’m 31. How time flies! I just remember how friendly Mr. Terakita was. I got locked out of the house once when I was a teen and he offered me to wait in their home, but I told him I’d be okay because it was summertime. My condolences to the Terakita family. You’re in my thoughts and prayers.

Kaz tried to eat rice with a fork (perhaps to make us feel more at home) but he had to give up and go back to his chopsticks. We remember too that he and the brothers helped us move into our first home. He was a good man and will be missed. Our hearts go out to you.
