Laura and I were best freinds at SAIT together when we were taking our upgrading courses.

She is a beautiful woman and I greatly respected her. She often talked about how much she loved her parents and how lucky she was to have them in her life. She was in love with her son Lewis. “My true love” she would always say. She was a great mother. She respected her son’s dad. Call him “my best friend”.

I admired her alot. She was always honest. Know what she wanted and got it. Very encouraging. When someone is down she was there to cheer you up. If you needed anything she would give it to you. She knew herself and never gave up on herself. A very strong woman. A very smart woman. A woman of passion. And she embraced life and lived it.

Mr. and Mrs. Furland you are great parents. You raised a smart and beautiful woman. She loved you very much. I am sorry for your loss. To Lewis, your mother was in love with you. You were her angel, never forget that. I am sorry for your loss.

It was a priveledge knowing Laura.
