Obituary of HERNANDEZ ALMORA– Cristina Odalys

February 1, 1970 – September 5, 2009 Cristina “Odalys” Hernandez Almora beloved wife of Alan of Calgary, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on Saturday, September 5, 2009 at the age of 39 years. Odalys was born February 1, 1970 in Havana, Cuba. She grew up in Havana, following her education Odalys began her career in the Oil and Gas Industry catering services. She met Alan while working and they were married July 21, 2005. Odalys then came to Calgary January 7, 2006 where she and Alan made their home. Odalys worked in Calgary at the CO-OP deli, where she made many new friends. Odalys loved the outdoors, she enjoyed golfing, fishing and experiencing new things. She was a loving and devoted wife and friend who will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Odalys is survived by her loving husband Alan; brother William of London; grandmother Cristina Ofarril of Cuba; father Miguel Hernandez; as well as two nieces, Ava Damaris and Maite de la Caridad. She was predeceased by her mother Emilia in 2007.
