Condolences
My mother, Amy Miller (Strawson) and your mother trained at Edmonton General, graduating in the same class. Our mothers over the years maintained a special friendship.
I had the honour of meeting Claire on a few occasions and enjoyed her humour and the special bond between our mothers.
You must have many special memories and I hope that is comforting during this difficult time and in the future.

To Claire’s Children –
My mother, Olive Clark, was a nursing classmate of Claire’s. I spent many an evening growing up watching the antics of the nurses at their reunions. Your Mom was usually there and even in their golden years, I was delighted to drive them all to their Alumnae banquets. Your Mother always treated me as one of her own and I have never forgotten her and have thought of her off and on since Mom passed away. My condolences to you all – she was an amazing lady. I thank her for some wonderful memories.

Dear Pat,
It was with great sorrow I learned of Claire’s passing. I had not seen Claire for over 30 years, so you can imagine my surprise when we met again in Glenmore Park in 2008.
Chatting with Claire on the many years we had at Charles E. Frosst and Co., for my part made the rehab stay more pleasant.
Claire was indeed a dedicated part of our team.
I regret my inability to attend Claire’s service due to being housebound.
In sorrow,
W.F. Moreland
Renee and Maureen regret that we cannot attend the service but extend the sympathy of the family and wish you to know our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. God Bless
Larry Hansman, Renee Christensen, Don Hansman and Maureen Millar
