Condolences
Hi Denise,
It was good to see you again although I could wish for happier circumstances. I would like to get together with you for a longer visit if you have the time. I would like to catch up with you and what has gone on in your life in the many years since we last saw each other. I can be reached at catdougbowen@yahoo.com. I can’t imagine what losing your mother is like but I’m willing to listen. Take care,
Cathy (Chapman) Bowen
Dear Denise and Bill:
I am sorry to hear of your mother’s death. Denise and I am sure it must be a deep loss to all of you. I hope it gives you satisfaction and comfort the wonderful gift you gave her, having the Camp Abegweit Lodge named for her and your mother. Bill
May your memories of her give you happiness in the days and years ahead.
Sincerely,
Bob Hutcheson

Dear, Denise, Bill & Dale,
We were so sad to hear of Tillie’s passing, she was a great lady, she will be missed.
I was going through Callie’s memory box last week which has the sweater set & santa slippers Tillie made especially for Callie.
Thinking of you all,

Dear Dale, Denise, & Bill
I’m shocked and saddened to read of your Mom’s death. Having Tillie as my neighbour for over 10 years was such a pleasure. The emotional support, friendship and gardening tips will always be remembered. While she and I talked, Tojo her much loved granddog & Star my little dog would also have a visit through the fence. She was such an active person with a wonderful spirit and strength that amazed me. She was always busy. Often I would see her rushing down the street on her way to the Nifty Fifty’s for bridge, bingo or a meeting. Our yearly lunches, after I moved and remarried, were always welcomed and gave me an opportunity to reconnect with your Mom. At Christmas I’ve always thought of her as I put her starched crochet angels on my tree, and will now even more. I am one of the many people she touched.
My Mom passed away a few years ago so I understand how special a Mom’s love is and how much it is missed. My thoughts are with you.
Sincerely
Bev Macleod

To the family of Tillie,
I have known Tillie ever since I joined the Nifty Fifties craft group in Parkdale. It was such a pleasure to see her at our Monday afternoon meetings. She made the most beautiful crafts. The baby outfits, the toys and afghans. She helped me out with some of my projects (I don’t crochet that well). Sitting on top of my TV I have the cutest mouse holding a piece of cheese that she made that I just had to have. I will miss her so much, she was such a dear person. I send my deepest sympathy to you.
Sincerely Brenda
My thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. I was fortunate to have met Till while living next door to her in Parkdale. She was fun to talk to and her garden was a joy to behold. What a lovely lady she was. May God bless and keep you all.
