Florence and I were friends since High School, when she lived at Esther’s. Then we also worked together and even took piano lessons together. Then she met Howie, who was such a nice man. He was handsome, and had a great sense of humor. I was honored to be her bridesmaid. We kind of went different directions over the years, but were always happy to get together from time to time. The last time was at North Hill Mall and we had lunch at Ricki’s. That was just last March or May. We planned to spend more time together, but it seems that God had other plans. And so Ken and I send our sincere condolences to all Florence’s family. Marillyn and Ken Kliewer.

When Florence would come to my home to purchase her aloe vera juice, she was always so cheerful and dressed so smartly. She aged well. Florence was a good lady.
