Dear Brook / Lara, and families
I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your mom. Marion was a such a special person. Her strength and wisdom were admirable. I loved her wonderful sense of humour and infectious laugh. I will treasure the many fun times we had together both as co-workers and friends. I will miss her. My deepest condolences to you all.
I am very saddened of the news regarding Marian’s passing. What a wonderful lady and she will be missed. My condololences to the family.
Thank you so much Marian for being so friendly to me & my whole Family from the first week we moved in Gleichen in 1978. It was Marian who first welcomed us in the community. She was the person who showed me how to get my first Canadian teaching job in this country- making me the 1st. ECS Kindergarten teacher in the town after her & some peoples effort in Gleichen establishing the 1st. ECS school.
Sincere condolences to Brook & Lara & families.
I will pray that the perpetual light will always shine upon you.
Thank you Marian for being my friend, co-worker and mentor. I will always remember you allowing me to ruffel my hands through your hair whenever I needed too. Your vivacious laughter and piercing blue eyes. Thank you for allowing me to know you a little. I know you are at peace now, rest well.
Marian was a wonderful friend,a great leader and mentor. She will be missed for her kindness, patience and her Contagious laugh.
Rest in peace our friend
I was very saddened to hear about Marian’s passing. She was much appreciated as a co-worker who brought joy and vivaciousness to work. I enjoyed our conversations immensely and loved her adventurous outlook on life.
Dear Lara/Brook and family:
I had the great honor of working with your mom from our Customer Service days with TransAlta to our last days together with Fortis.
How do I begin to express what your mom meant to me. She taught me everything I know about Customer Service and supported me in any work adventure that came my way. Always encouraging me, always my best cheer leader.
She was honest and caring and loving and yet could let you know if you crossed a line with just one look from those blue eyes.
I will miss watching her run her fingers through her hair and the laugh of the “blonde bombshell”.
God and Jim are lucky to now have her. We can certainly miss her, but the best thing all of us can do, those that had the great fortune of knowing her, is do as she would want us to do. Be good people, treat others with respect and kindness, have fun and most of all laugh.
I will miss you my friend, who will now look at me and say Brrrrrenda!
