Obituary of Low Horn – Kristy Gail

January 29, 1979– September 3, 2009 Kristy (Tracey) Gail Low Horn, beloved mother of Erin and Emilly Many Heads, went home peacefully, to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 3, 2009. “Lord, I pray that my friends will know you in every way You can be known” Baptized and saved on September 4, 1988, Siksika Nation. Tracey was born at Bassano Hospital on January 29, 1979 to Elliot and Sylvia (Grace) Low Horn. Tracey was a compassionate, supportive, sociable, friendly individual with the kind caring spirit to recognize others before her. She was patient and talented in every aspect of her life and spoke often of her daughters proudly. As a graduate from Strathmore High School, Tracey attended SAIT and received her Office Assistant and Records and Information Management Certificates successfully; she was an aspiring accountant and took pride in her work. She was later employed with Siksika Recreation, Treasury and Housing departments, also, with Shell and Petro Canada in Calgary. At the time of her passing, Tracey was employed with Siksika Council Governance Team as the Financial Administrator. She will be missed by her sisters, Denise, Fondella, Donna, Stacey, Bonnie, Brightstar and Sally; brothers, Brent (Tanya), Ellie (Krista), Scotty and Vernon; aunts, Henrietta, Delphine and Theresa, Wendy, Mildred, and AnnaBelle and uncle Gilbert Young. Grandfather Harry (Rose) Red Gun and Many Heads family. Tracey was predeceased by her father Elliot Low Horn and paternal grandparents: Henry and Noella Low Horn; maternal grandparents: James and Louise Young, Margaret Red Gun, brothers Donald Young and Harry Red Gun III. Wake Services will be held at the Siksika Community Centre on Wednesday, September 9, 2009 at 6:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at Siksika Community Centre on Thursday, September 10, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. with a graveside services to follow at Canon Stockton Cemetery.
