Obituary of SOMMERVILLE – Thomas Alexander

July 21, 1927 – September 1, 2009 It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our beloved Father, Grandfather and Great Grandfather, Thomas (Tom) A. Sommerville. Born and raised in Calgary, Tom worked in the geophysical industry in western Canada, he retired in 1982. His joys in life were fishing, golf and the friendships with fellow Doddle-buggers. Tom will be sorely missed by his son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Norma; grandson Andrew and his wife Laura, along with great grandchildren, Braeden and Ayla and grandson Kyle; son and daughter-in-law, Martin and Diane, granddaughters, Michelle and her partner Paul; and great grandchild Damian, and Rachel and her partner Paul and great grandchildren, Troy and Eva; and daughter Dawn and her partner Tom. He was predeceased by his father, Thomas Brown, Mother Williamina (nee MacLean) and wife Donna Lenore (Thompson).
