Obituary of GARRICK – David Hamilton

November 1, 1926 – August 26, 2009 Surrounded by love, David Garrick died as he lived – with dignity and grace. Predeceased by son Scott (1958) and daughter Christine (1990), David is survived by Theo, his wife of 60 years, seven children; Craig (Laura), Michael Brent, Barbara, Ellen, Mark, Karen and Blair (Julie), nine grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and his sister Peggy (Joe) Stolte of Edmonton. David worked for many years with CIL Explosives division retiring in 1981. He was very involved with Boy Scouts of Canada and the United Church of Canada, both as a singer and board member. A Celebration of David’s life will be held at Springbank United Church (250011 Range Road 33, North of Calaway Park) on Saturday, August 29, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. You may forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
