Condolences
As past President of the Ladies Section at Inglewood Golf Club, I would like to pass on to you that our thoughts and prayers are with. I never met Dorothy, but the wonderful words of praise I have heard about her means that I missed meeting an angel. On behalf of all the gals at Inglewood we hope you enjoy all the happy memories of your Mom and there must be many.
Sincerely, Joan Jefferies
We first met Dorothy, along with her husband, Andy in the 1950’s when she was a dear friend of Sue’s mom Kay Morton. Dorothy and Andy were wonderful people and great friends. Kay got Andy a job at the Glencoe Club where he was treasured. Dorothy and Kay were great friends and shared many memories. We remember Dorothy as a lovely person who love life and was an avid golfer. She always had a wonderful smile and faced life “heads-up.”
Rest peacefully Dorothy and look down on us all as a gentle star.
I joined Inglewood Golf Course in 1991 and met Dorothy there. I remember her fondly as a pleasant upbeat lady to golf with and was saddened to read of her passing in the newspaper. I know she hasn’t golfed for the last ten years but I wanted you to know that many of the members of Inglewood remember her with fondness and affection. Sincerely, Sylvia
I met your Mother at Inglewood Golf Course. I became the Club Manager and
golfed with Dorothy many times. Your
Mother was a wonderful lady and my friend.
I have a painting that she did for me.
My deepest condolences to all of you.
