I am shocked and saddened to learn about George. Even though I have not had contact with George in thirty years, I have many fond memories of growing up with George in Terrenceville, especially the many “pond hockey” games we played together. My thoughts and prayers are with you. George was the ultimate gentleman. I will always remember his many acts of kindness and gentleness.
May God Bless.

I have been truly saddened to see how quickly and suddenly George has left us.
I got to know George through my father, Don Kettle. George was a great man – one-of-a-kind with a big heart and a wonderful sense of humour. I had the pleasure of playing golf with him numerous times, most recently in a tournament here in Edmonton about 3 years ago. We had a blast – it was Rod Leroux, Ian Forgues, George and I, and we had so much fun it’s a wonder that we did so well (we actually won the tournament!).
I am unable to make the service, so please accept my family’s heartfelt condolences. I, for one, will miss George alot.
Dear Ann-Marie and Family:
I was saddened today to hear of George’s passing. I had the pleasure of working with him on several occasions here in Fort McMurray. He had a wonderful sense of humor and will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of loss.

I have fond memories working with George and those memories will never die. I hope that George’s wife and kids can find the strength to overcome this most difficult time.

My sincere condolences to the family of George. I was a colleague of his at Jacobs for over 20yrs and have been friends for far longer. I always enjoyed working with him and he was always available to solve any problems that arose. I last saw George several months ago when we flew from Calgary to Edmonton together. I had the most enjoyable flight sharing stories and laughing together. George will forever be remembered. May God grant you peace in your time of sorrow.

My sincere condolences to your family in this time of sadness. You may remember us from Ft. Mc where we lived on Cornwall Dr. just across the back fence and down a bit from you.
