Obituary of MORTON – Gregg MacLennan

January 3, 1948 – August 21, 2009 Gregg Morton, beloved husband of Cate Samuel of Edmonton, passed away on Friday, August 21, 2009 at the age of 61 years. Gregg, known as Morty to his friends, was born and grew up in Vegreville. He spent his teen years in Calgary and Edmonton before signing up for a stint in the Navy. Gregg found his calling as a Rig Welder working the Alberta oil patch for many years. After a few years in Vancouver, Gregg and Cate settled in Edmonton with their son Sam. He will be dearly missed. Besides his loving wife, Gregg is survived by his four children, Sarah (Chris) Quon, Meghan Morton (Kyle), Caleb Morton, and Sam Morton; nephew Gavin Morton and nieces, Kendra and Alana Morton and their mother Rose Morton.
