A moment doesn’t go by that you aren’t apart of what I am… I remember how frustrated your poor mom would get when you would cook and you did it like me..

This just one of few memories that connect me with you, I look at your brothers and see you. I feel you with me sometimes, and the sadness of not being able to reach out and hold you makes my heart feel such an emptiness that only then do I fully realize that until we meet way up in the arms of eternity that the memories of you are all the more precious to me. I would never give up the wonderful memories of you that I have been able to share with you, your twinkle in your eyes when you laughed, the soft tone in your voice when you would talk about your mom and dad and how no matter where you are your love touches them each day and keeps you close. My heart is heavy today with the knowledge of Ashlynn’s sudden passing….she was just this little bit of a thing with long dark hair, standing there hugging your leg, Val, on that first day when met at Village Square, waiting for Mitchell and Steven to start preschool…..then she was so grown up in her beautiful grad pictures that you showed me the last time we had coffee together…..it’s obvious she was noticed and needed for far greater things…things we cannot understand right now. To the Rains family, I am very sorry for the loss of Ashlynn. She was a very beautiful girl. I did not know her well but my son talked fondly of her. I know from what Mitch has told me she was a very kind loving person. You are in my thoughts. Remeber all the good times and always know she will always be there watching over you.
