Obituary of OSBORNE – Betty Alice

April 6, 1924 – August 20, 2009 Betty Osborne of Calgary passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 20, 2009 at the age of 85 years, after a full and happy life enjoying family and friends. Betty’s last few years were spent in the Carewest Sarcee where she made many new friends. The family is very appreciative of the staff that provided such loving care during her stay. She was a true inspiration to everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. Betty was born on April 6, 1924 in Yorkton, SK. Betty married Eric on April 26, 1956 in Winnipeg, MB. Her greatest joy was raising her family and being a loving mother, grandmother and great grammie. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends. Betty is survived by her four children, Bruce and Tani Osborne of St. Albert, AB, Debbie and Jack Lorenzen of Prince Albert, SK, Dawn and Frank Kaminski of Kelowna, BC, and Sandy and Rick Frey of Calgary; three stepchildren, Beverly Baumgarten of New Zealand, Gordon Osborne of Tappen, BC, and Gary and Michelle Osborne of Anglemont, BC; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her loving husband of forty-seven years, Eric Osborne in 2003. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S, Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Tuesday, August 25, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. Forward condolences through .
