May 8, 1962 – August 19, 2009 Reggie Turning Robe of Siksika Nation, AB passed away on Wednesday, August 19, 2009 at the age of 47 years. Reggie is survived by his son Brian Samuels; two brothers, George Jr. (Marcella) and Wayne (Trina); three sisters, Rena, Jackie, and Candi; sisters, Connie and Mike Rabbit Carrier, Susan and Chris Strangling Wolf, and Liz Scout; as well as the Turning Robe, Cat Face, Maguire, Gallegos, Running Rabbit, Doore, Jacobs, Water Chief, Ayoungman, Axe, Backfat, Breaker, Eagle Bear, Rabbit Carrier, Scout, Strangling Wolf, and Old Woman families. The family apologizes to anyone they may have missed. He was predeceased by his parents George Sr. and Isabelle Turning Robe; two brothers Ronnie and Bryan; three sisters, Darlene, Joyce and Hazel. Wake Services will be held at Siksika Community Centre (Siksika Nation, AB) on Friday, August 21, 2009 at 6:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at Siksika Community Centre on Saturday, August 22, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. Graveside Service to follow at Little Chicago Cemetery.
