Obituary of JAEGER – Josef

May 26, 1928 – August 18, 2009 Josef Jaeger, beloved father, grandfather and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully after a short battle with cancer. Josef was born in Germany and moved to Calgary in 1958, where he lived and worked most of his life. Josef is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law, Jerry (Dolores), and Peter (Joyce), both of Calgary; grandchildren, Steven (Jessica), Corinna (Jason), Shannon (Cory), Jennifer (T.J.), Jamie, and Jackie (Armando); five great-grandchildren, Ashley, Justin, Paige, Bryce, and Travis. Josef is also survived by cousin, Marlis (Walter) Krause of Calgary and many other relatives and friends. Josef was predeceased by his wife, Christa of fifty-eight years, and his grandson Bradley. Josef will be forever missed by his loving family.
