Obituary of SNOW – Winnifred

March 28, 1948 – August 13, 2009 Winnie Snow, our dear mother, sister, grandmother and aunt was called home by our Creator after a short time due to illness on Thursday, August 13, 2009 at the age of 61 years. Winnie was predeceased by her parents Tom and Cora Snow; her sister Evelyn, brothers Gilbert, Chief John Snow Sr., Richard and her son Jamie. Winnie is survived by her three daughters; Jolie, Julie ,Nyao (Ben) and seventeen grandchildren; brother Wallace (Frances) and sisters Ruby, Violet and Glenda (Frank); Tommy, Margaret, Hank, Verna and Bruce as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. We apologize if we have missed anyone. Winnie was born and raised in Morley, Alberta. She lived her life among her family and her people after attending the Morley residential school. She was a mother, sister, friend and primarily a homemaker during her lifetime. Wake Services will be held at the residence of Winnie Snow (Morley, AB) on August 16 & 17, 2009. Funeral Services will be held at Morley United Church (Morley, AB) on Tuesday, August 18, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. Graveside Service to follow at Wesley Cemetery (Morley, AB).
