Obituary of McKENZIE – Freda

July 8, 1921 – August 11, 2009 Freda McKenzie of Calgary passed away peacefully at the Beverly Care Centre on Tuesday, August 11, 2009 at the age of 88 years. Freda will be lovingly remembered by her brothers and sisters, Lydia Klaudt, Reinhold Wahler, Helen Sauter, John Wahler, Phyllis Chichenko, Reuben Wahler, and Violet Pratt; many nieces and nephews; and numerous friends and relatives. She was predeceased by her husband Frank McKenzie; mother and father Lydia and Simon Wahler; sister Molly Maser. Freda and Frank lived in Calgary, Medicine Hat, Langley, BC and Red Deer. She was an active Legion member in her later years. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Fish Creek Chapel (14441 Bannister Road S.E.) on Tuesday, August 18, 2009 at 12:00 p.m. Graveside Service to follow at Eden Brook Memorial Gardens.
