Obituary of VENTRUDO – Eugene

May 10 1933 – August 10, 2009 Eugene beloved husband of Miriam of Calgary, passed away on August 10, 2009 at the age of 76 years. Eugene was born in Fort William, Ontario, in 1933 and worked in the family grocery business for more than 30 years. He was an avid golfer and despite his failing health over the past few years, never lost his resilience and sense of humour Eugene is lovingly remembered by his wife of 49 years, Miriam, sons Brian (Lorie Zorn) of Ottawa, and James (Luigia), daughters Gina (Mark Maier) and Lisa (Michael Broeders), all of Calgary; grandchildren Katherine, Amanda, Brayden, and Helen, brothers Jerry and Bert, of Thunder Bay. Eugene was predeceased by his parents Francesco and Maria (Grasso), and brother Daniel. Following cremation in Calgary, Funeral Services will be held at Everest Funeral Chapel in Thunder Bay, ON with interment to follow at Mountain View Cemetery.
