Obituary of BAUMBER – John Scott PhD

June 4, 1937 – August 6, 2009 It is with much sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of John Baumber, physician, educator, humanitarian, Professor Emeritus, and a founder of the University of Calgary’s Faculty of Medicine. Predeceased by his son Michael in 1997, John will be sorely missed by his wife Joan, daughters Kirsten and Kate, son Stephen, their partners, his granddaughter Charlotte, and his many friends, colleagues and students.
