Obituary of MATTSON – Georgina Frances

February, 20 1920 – July 31, 2009 Georgina Frances Mattson (nee Colebrook) passed away with joy and humour on Friday, July 31, 2009 at the age of 89 years, after a long struggle. Georgie grew up in Canmore. She lived in Exshaw, Calgary and Westlock. In later years, she settled in Okotoks. Georgie was predeceased by her husband Muff Mattson; sisters, Mavis, Lois, and Doris; brother Bert; and grandson Cory Christopher Sill. She is survived by her son Michael (Linda); and daughter Carol Sill (James K-M); grandchildren, Christina Rose (Daniel) Dickson, Sarah (Murray) McLean, and Kristopher Brooke; and great-grandchildren, Ember, Cora, Lochlan, and Rochelle. Georgie was loving and devoted to her family. She is missed. The family wishes to express gratitude to all at the Southwood Hospice for their deep sensitivity, care and understanding.
