Obituary of PFOH – Marjorie

October 12, 1918 – July 31, 2009 Our dear Mom passed away peacefully on Friday, July 31, 2009 with her loving family at her side. Mom was born October 12, 1918 (Thanksgiving Day) and lived in Sunnyside for eighty years, always by the Bow River. The last ten years were spent at Bow View Manor Nursing Home where she was taken care of with love and kindness and we thank each and every one of you from the bottom of our hearts. Mom was a faithful member of St. Stephen’s Anglican Church for forty years attending from 1949. She loved to play hymns on the piano. Her flower garden, filled with petunias, geraniums and sweet peas, were beautiful in the front yard of our family home. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch No. 264 and also the Army, Navy and Air Force. Mom is survived by her four children, Marilyn (Keith) Brooks, Wendy (Dave) Silbernagel, John and Robert; her grandchildren, Keith Jr., Nancy, Karen Marjorie, Amanda, Stephen, Shannon, Ryan, Kristina, Kevin, Robyn (Mike), Jenna, and Jamie; and also her great grandchildren, Kayley, Caeden, Jayda, Drew, Cammie, Alexander, and Melody. Mom was predeceased by our Dad, Johnnie; her parents Edyth & George Hall; her brother and sister-in-law Ted & Betty Hall; and her grandson Christopher Pfoh. We will miss you Mom but hold you close in our hearts. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Wednesday, August 5, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
