Obituary of CASTLE – William John

June 1, 1935 – July 30, 2009 William John (Jack) Castle was born June 1, 1935 in Edgerton, Alberta. He passed away with his family at his side on Thursday, July 30, 2009, following a long and courageous battle with cancer. Jack is best described as the man for the job. When something needed to be fixed, family and friends could rest easy knowing Jack was there. He was a wandering soul always eager to reach his destination. It was for this reason and his love of fishing that Jack retired to La Penita, Mexico, and created his own little paradise. Jack is survived by his wife Amelia; his step-daughters Adriana, Teresa, and Rubi; his first wife Sharon and their four daughters Diann (Merle), Dona Fox (John), Darlene Herman (Wayne), and Dale (William); his grandchildren Matthew, Ashley, Katharine, Nicole, Alannah, Harrison, Zachary, Moncerrat, Fatima, and Mia; brother Val Castle (Sandra); and sister Pat Beach (Bob). Jack is predeceased by his second wife Lois; his sister Betty; and his parents William and Helen Castle. A Celebration of Jack’s Life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Crowfoot Chapel (82 CROWFOOT CIRCLE N.W), today, August 5, 2009 at 2:30 p.m. You may forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com. Special thanks to Carol Boyer of Home Care, Dr. B. Hemmelgarn, and Nurse Eric. In living memory of Jack Castle, a tree will be planted at Fletcher Park, Airdrie by McINNIS & HOLLOWAY FUNERAL HOMES, Crowfoot Chapel, 82 CROWFOOT CIRCLE N.W. Telephone: (403) 241-0044.
