Obituary of BATES – Adria Joan

November 22, 2005 – July 30, 2009

Our beautiful princess Adria was taken from us suddenly on Thursday, July 30, 2009, at the age of 3 years.

Adria brought love and light into our world and to all those she met. She taught us the meaning of unconditional love, pure delight and unspeakable happiness. Adria loved the simple things in life – dandelions, bike rides, hugs and kisses, being a big sister, and princesses Our sweet baby girl is now an eternal princess angel, sent to heaven to watch over us all.

Adria will be lovingly remembered by her parents Garth and Alana Bates; sister Calie Bates; grandparents, Neil and Diane Bates, Barry and Joan Jackson; aunts and uncles, Damon and Lisa Grover, Ryan and Angie Smith; cousins, Brayden and Reese Grover; great-grandmothers, Mildred Bates, Ida Cruise, Elsie Jackson, and Catherine Rogers.

A Celebration of Adria’s Life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Fish Creek Chapel (14441 Bannister Road S.E.) on Thursday, August 6, 2009, at 1:00 p.m. Graveside Service to follow at Christ Church Cemetery in Millarville, AB Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
