Obituary of MAYER – Anton John

July 2, 1936 – July 29, 2009 It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Tony Mayer after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Tony was born in Ajkarendek, Hungary on July 2, 1936. Tony was a member of the Knights of Columbus for 45 years, and the Royal Canadian Legion Branch No. 285. He was a master electrician and a jack of all trades. Tony is the loving husband of 51 years to Adeline, father to Terry (Murray Strang), Joe (Chris Graff) and Tony Mayer; amazing grandfather to Amy, Holly, Courtney, Josh, Tricia and Tyler….The Best Grandpa Ever! Brother of Annie (John Kuchera), Theresa (Odegnal) and Julius “Whitey” (Carol Tuss). He was predeceased by his father Josef, his mother Anna and step-father John Tuss. To all who knew and loved Tony, there is an enormous void in our lives.
