Obituary of Allan James McKinnon

March 12, 1941 – July 29, 2009 Allan McKinnon, B. Comm., CFP, R.F.P., C.A., beloved husband of Patricia Willis, father of Connie (Paul), Katherine (Robert) and Colleen (Michael). Stepfather of David (Laurie) and Hugh (Jill), passed away on Wednesday, July 29, 2009 at the age of 68 years. Allan graduated from U of A in 1959 with a Bachelor of Commerce degree at the age of 19. He practiced as a C.A. in Calgary for 45 years, primarily in private practice. He was the author of two best selling financial planning books. Allan was an avid golfer and was an original member of Willow Park Golf and Country Club. Allan is remembered by his cherished grandchildren, Christopher, Tavin, Kaylee, Avarie, James, Cadence, and Charlotte and many friends and relatives. He was predeceased by his parents Jim and Isabel.
