Obituary of Candace Mary Elizabeth Taylor
October 27, 1916 – July 27, 2009
Candace Taylor passed away on Monday, July 27, 2009 at the age of 92 years.
Candace was born in Myrtle, Manitoba on October 27, 1916. She was a contended and spiritual woman who was always ready with a helping hand. She spent many happy years gardening, square dancing and wintering in Mesa, Arizona. She enjoyed her last few years at Aspen Lodge with her cousin, Burton Simpson and continued her special relationship with Fairview Baptist Church. She lived a long healthy life and was a model patient during her brief and final illness.
Candace is survived by her brother James (Ruby) Simpson of Manitoba; nephew James (Roberta) Simpson; nieces Thelma Shineton and Janie (Donald) Orchard; as well as many great nephews and nieces of Calgary, Alberta. She was predeceased by her first husband, Wellington Scott of Deerwood, Manitoba in 1972; and by her second husband George Taylor of Calgary, Alberta in 2003.
Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W.) on Thursday, July 30, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
