Obituary of LEITH – Angelita Alvarez

May 5, 1948 – July 27, 2009 Angelita Leith BSc (Education), beloved wife of Alexander Leith of Calgary, passed away on Monday July 27, 2009 at the age of 61 years. Besides her loving husband and best friend of over thirty years whom she met on an Air Canada flight the day she arrived, Angelita is survived by two sons, Christian and Adam Joel and a very large extended family. Angelita continued an interesting and successful career, commenced in the Philippines in education and international human resources, in Winnipeg in 1975 and also became a respected Landman in Calgary after moving here in 1979. She was a glowing example of an equal partner, avid gardener, world traveller and a loving friend to everyone she knew. Her warm smile and soft voice will be sadly missed and never forgotten. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary’s Cathedral (219 – 18th Avenue S.W.) on Thursday, July 30, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. Graveside Service to follow at Queen’s Park Cemetery.
