Obituary of Marjorie Joan Corbin

April 4, 1921 – July 24, 2009 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Marjorie Corbin, beloved wife of Ron Corbin of Calgary, passed away on Friday, July 24, 2009 at the age of 88 years. Marjorie spent a large part of her adult life (other than the war years) as a volunteer. Firstly in England with the women’s Volunteer Service and in Canada with the Girl Guides of Canada, where she remained a life member. She also spent many years volunteering with Meals on Wheels and a lesser time with Canadian Cancer Society. Marjorie is survived by her loving husband of sixty-five years Ronald; daughter and son-in-law Marilyn and Jerry Aquilini; step grandchildren Tamara and Ryan Aquilini as well as numerous relatives in England. She was predeceased by her mother Elizabeth Parsons (nee Crowe), her father William Arthur Parsons; brother Leonard; sister Eileen Parsons and several uncles, aunts and cousins.
