Obituary of William James Rous

November 28, 1913 – July 23, 2009 William James Rous affectionately known to family and friends as Jim, passed away peacefully and quietly in his sleep early on the morning of July 23, 2009 at the age of 95 years. Jim was a good man who worked hard and honestly all of his life to provide his family with a safe home, happy family vacations, the joy of family Christmas gatherings and most especially he kept us all laughing with his corny jokes. In his spare time, Jim loved to golf and spent many happy hours with friends and neighbours roaming the local courses. Jim is survived by his loving wife Alice; son Leonard Rous; daughter Valerie Reynolds and his beloved granddaughter Aubrey Reynolds. In loving memory of Jim, his family will be making a donation to The Canadian Cancer Society and request that those who wish to do so would make a donation in his name rather than sending flowers. Jim will be cremated as was his wish, and no services will be held.
